Health minister cuts sod for the construction of 40 seater bed hospital at Drobonso

The Minister of Health also the member of Parliament for Dormaa Central in the Bono Region, on 4th September, 2020 has cut sod to contract 40 seater bed hospital in Drobonso the district capital for Sekyere Afram Plains in the Ashanti Region. The hospital made up of many ward like, OPD, female and male ward, theater. etc.

Drobonso is among of 12 District benefits from this 40 seater capacity bed hospital. In Ashanti Region five (5) district had the opportunity, it includes Sarbronum in the Ahafo Ano South East, Suame, Manso Nkwanta, Twedie in the Atwima Kwanwoma district, and Drobonso-Sekyere Afram Plains.

The Minister of health who double as member of parliament for Dormaa central, Hon kwaku Agyemang Manu has said that, the NPP government is showing commitment to complete all projects started by the previous government in the areas of health care delivery and education.

He said the government has tasked all the contractors who have been engaged in such abandoned hospitals to go back to the site to ensure smooth successful completion of the projects includes kumawu and FOMENA district hospitals and other regions.

Hon kwaku Agyemang Manu was speaking during the sod cutting ceremony for the construction of 40 bed capacity district hospital for Sekyere Afram Plains district in the Ashanti Region.

The district chief executive, Hon Joseph Owusu Popularly known as Odenkyem used the opportunity to appealed to the people to consider the NPP government commitment exhibiting in developmental projects which is ongoing in the district and give NPP government four more in office and vote for him as member of parliament comes December 7.

The chief of Anyinofi, Nana Amponsah-Teng Kakabo also used the opportunity to appealed to the government through ministry of health to help promote quality health care delivery in the various rural communities since many of them are finding it difficult to get access to.

He however expressed gratitude to the government for the construction of the district hospital facility and used the occasion to made passionate to the people in the Constituency to help give the NPP government more years to do much for them.
