Chelsea in a bid to sign Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell

Chelsea close to signing Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell and agreeing on terms with Thiago Silva to sign him on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The inability of Leicester City to qualify for the Champions League hurt their negotiation position and thus are willing to accept a fee in the region of £50m for the left-back with the manager not been pleased with the performances of Marcos Alonso and Emerson who is set to leave for Internazionale.

Leicester City is currently looking to Ajax’s Argentinian Nicolas Tagliafico as a replacement for Chilwell
