The Member of Parliament Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere has cut the sod for the construction of a Ginger Processing factory in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
The factory, which is under the one District One Factory (1D1F).
Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere speaking at the ceremony described the factory as a strategic facility that would support Ginger farmers and the youth within the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality especially people from Atwima Gyankobaa. He also used this wonderful occasion to applaud President Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo for the unprecedented infrastructural development and other projects undertaken by the NPP government and called the people of Atwima Nwabiagya South to appreciate that with an overwhelming vote to four more for them to do more.
Nana Obofour Atwimakwah Boakye Darkwah II, Chief of Atwima Gyankobaa expressed gratitude to the Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo’s government and the member of Parliament, Hon Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere for this wonderful effort, and also appealing to the NIC-SEC construction limited to meet the deadline for the project.
Otumfour Kwansentuohene, Nana Obofour Atwimakwah Boakye Darkwah also appealed to the MCE and MP assist the farmers in the Ginger farming in a form of loan so that they would produce more.
