My salary has increased significantly following Nana Ama Mcbrown’s arrival – captain smart
Broadcast journalist Captain Smart has revealed that his salary at Onua TV and Onua FM saw a significant increase following the arrival of popular actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown.
While celebrating his fifth anniversary at the station, Captain Smart reflected on the time McBrown was officially welcomed into the Onua team. He recalled receiving heavy criticism after he openly celebrated her arrival and wore a promotional T-shirt during her unveiling event.
“If you can’t wear the glory of somebody, nobody will honour you. And I wore my sister’s glory that day,” he said.
According to Captain Smart, McBrown’s entry into the company played a major role in boosting its growth and revenue.
“So imagine if she did not come, maybe my salary would have been the same by now,” he stated.
He suggested that the actress’s move to the station significantly improved the media house’s financial fortunes, which later translated into better earnings for the staff, including himself.
