Mr. Abubakari Yakubu, popularly known as Baba Amando and the Communications Director for the NPP’s Sunyani East Constituency, has boldly asserted that the party is fully determined to win back every one of the 11 parliamentary seats it lost to the NDC in the Bono Region during the next general elections in 2028.
He emphasized that success will come through a deliberate and well-planned strategy, noting that the party must first strengthen its foundation by building robust Communication and Organizational departments. Baba Amando expressed strong confidence in the enduring appeal of the NPP’s principles, combined with the steadfast backing of the constituents.
With renewed campaign tactics and closer engagement with voters, he believes the party is well-positioned to secure victory.
Additionally, he called on party executives and those vying for executive positions to maintain discipline and avoid any disruptive behavior.
He stressed the importance of unity both before and after internal elections, urging everyone to work together as a cohesive team to deliver success in the 2028 general elections.
