Nana Ama Kyiniyie, the Queen Mother of Sefwi Asawinso in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of Ghana’s Western North Region, has encouraged young people across the country to demonstrate good character and moral values to secure a brighter future.
In an interview with Osomafo Kwame Owusu, the Queen Mother shared her personal story as an example. She explained that her upright and decent lifestyle earned her the opportunity to be enstooled as Queen Mother when the position became available.
Nana Ama Kyiniyie advised the youth to stay away from drugs, which can harm their health, and offered additional guidance on responsible living.
She further stressed the importance of taking education and vocational skills seriously, noting that these will equip them to become productive and valuable members of society in the years ahead.
In her closing remarks, she called on parents to provide proper care and guidance for their children to help build a stronger future for them.
